Hey Holly, Just wanted to update you on our journey. My wife Monique and I took your Online Bradley Method® class over 2 years ago, and it set us up for a natural, unmedicated birth with our first at 8 lbs 11 oz. Fast forward to yesterday, and we welcomed our second, a 10-pounder, with the same approach!!! Monique delivered naturally at 40 weeks and 2 days, and both are doing great. We might head home today:) The techniques from your class were a game-changer, especially dealing with the challenge of a 10-pound baby (we didn't expect him to be that big!) Relaxation was key, and Monique handled labor and pushing impressively – the nurses were more than surprised and Monique looked calm and collected the entire way through! Monique isn't one to brag, but I thought you'd like to know about our 2nd success and I have been telling everybody how amazing she is!! Apparently, natural, unmedicated birth for a 10-pound baby isn't common, according to the nurses. They most often see C-sections for babies that are suspected to be that big. It was incredible! We are so happy that we could show doctors and nurses what natural unmedicated birth is like, especially with big babies, twice! And this time around we actually got to the hospital only 2 short hours before he was born. It was easier to recognize the stages of labor and we even got to experience the second wind, before the final pushes, that the class teaches about (almost took my cheat sheet to read the descriptions 😂) Despite suggestions for induction at 39 weeks, we stuck to our plan, and everything went beyond expectations. Another win for our family, feeling so empowered and so incredibly thankful for your Online Course! It was especially awesome to be able to learn from and be in contact with you, even though we are all the way in Maryland!! Thank you for being such a BIG part of our story!!
